DeAnn Work

Ms. Work is the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Altaba Inc., formerly known as Yahoo! Inc., and was previously an outside legal advisor to Yahoo. Prior to joining Altaba/Yahoo, Ms. Work served as Senior Vice President, Senior Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Broadcom Corporation, a global supplier of semiconductor devices, where she and her team were responsible for the corporate and securities, M&A, employment law, regulatory and compliance and government relations activities for the company. Prior to joining Broadcom in 2009, she was the Senior Associate General Counsel at Safeco Corporation, a property and casualty insurance company, responsible for legal and regulatory advice for all product and business operations. Before joining Safeco, Ms. Work was a senior counsel at McKesson Corporation, the global healthcare distribution and services company, providing support for the M&A, international tax, treasury and real estate groups, and advising on healthcare regulatory compliance matters. She began her legal career at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, practicing in New York City and Paris, and advising a variety of clients on mergers and acquisitions and securities law matters.

Ms. Work received her A.B. degree from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, and her law degree from Harvard Law School.
