What to Bring:
No printed tickets are necessary. Also, bring your credit card and skip the hassle of paying later. To make it easier for you to purchase auction items, participate in our fun activities, or donate to our fund-a-need drive, securely register your credit card at the beginning of the evening. If you don’t make any purchases, your card won’t be charged.
Weather and What to Wear:
It tends to cool off during the evenings and part of the venue is outside, so please bring a warm layer. We also recommend comfy shoes as this isn’t a seated dinner.
Best Ways to Meet & Greet FLY Youth:
FLY youth look forward to getting to know you. For many of them, this is their first time at a big event. Here are some ways you can help make their experience a success: Keep your conversations with youth positive, focused on their futures. Ask them questions that show you value and respect the youth’s perspective, like “I’ve heard great things about FLY, what has your experience been?” or “What has been your favorite FLY experience?” or “What do you plan to do when you finish with your FLY program?” Plus, you can play a fun, interactive game called Guess Who? to learn more about FLY youth and staff and become eligible for fun raffle prizes.
