FLY internships are an exciting way to immerse yourself in the culture and day-to-day operations of Fresh Lifelines for Youth! You will learn first-hand what it takes to be an integral part of our dynamic teams and directly impact the youth FLY serves. Our internships appeal to individuals of diverse interests and talents and all include youth programs and professional development opportunities.

Please read the internship descriptions listed below to learn more about each position, including a brief program/department description, position responsibilities, and key competencies required for each role. Internship commitments range from one semester to a year, with varying requirements for daily and weekly hours. Most internships are unpaid.

Key Requirements for all Internships:

  • Aligned with FLY’s Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have reliable transportation. a valid driver’s license, and insurance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Relationship-building skills; able to build rapport quickly with FLY youth, staff, and stakeholders
  • Computer Proficient
